Getting started
A quick tour of the studio and the first things to set up.
Open in TeachopolisWelcome to Teachopolis. Your studio is where you run your teaching business: classes, private students, lessons, schedules, and messages. Your students and their families use the Classroom to see what you share with them.

Finding your way around
Every page in your studio has the same sidebar on the left. On a phone, tap the menu button in the top corner to open it.
- Dashboard: your home screen.
- Individuals: private, one-on-one students.
- Classes and Courses: group teaching.
- Schedule: every session on a calendar.
- Lessons (on each class, course, or student) and Library: media files for lessons.
- My People: students, parents and guardians, and instructors.
- Messages: emails, chats, and audience groups.
- Storefront: your public studio page.
- Classroom: what your students see.
- Settings: your profile and studio details.
Your first-week checklist
Work through these in order and your studio will be ready for students.
- Finish your profile. Add the photo, name, and bio families see on your storefront in Settings → Personal.
- Fill in your studio details. If you own the studio, set its name, contact details, and time zone on the Studio tab, then add the places you teach on the Locations tab. See Settings.
- Write a lesson or two. Lessons hold what you teach: notes, images, videos, and files. See Lessons.
- Create a class or add a private student. Group teaching lives in Classes; one-on-one teaching lives in Individuals.
- Put it on the calendar. Add a weekly time or single dates. See Schedule.
- Bring your students in. Enroll students in a class and send each family a welcome email so they can open the Classroom.
- Share your storefront. Make classes public so new families can find them. See Storefront.
Studio and Classroom
You work in the studio. Students and their parents or guardians sign in to the Classroom, where they see the lessons, schedule, and messages you share with them. You can open the Classroom yourself from the sidebar to check what they see; read The Classroom to learn more.
