Schedule
See every session on a calendar and add one-off or repeating times.
Open in TeachopolisSchedule shows every group class session and each one-on-one student's private lessons in one place. All times use your studio's time zone, which the owner sets in Settings.
Watch: schedule a session
The calendar
- Use the arrows and Today to move between months.
- Filter by class and by location with the menus above the calendar. One-on-one sessions appear under that student's name (for example “Ava Chen (private)”).
- Each session shows its time and location. A repeat icon marks weekly sessions, a note icon means it has notes for students, and cancelled sessions are struck through.
- Sessions you've changed are marked Modified; one-time sessions are marked One-off.
List view
Switch to List to see sessions grouped by day with their length, lesson, location, and status. Use the pencil to edit a session, or the … menu to open its lesson, join an online meeting, or get directions. Click View later dates to load more.
Quick schedule
Quick schedule is the fastest way to add or change one session.
- Click Schedule session on the Schedule page, or open Schedule → Quick schedule.
- Pick a group class or an individual student. Use the Classes / Students tabs or search to narrow the list.
- Under New session, set the Date, Start time, Minutes, location, and any Notes for students.
- Click Set session.
To change a session, click Edit beside it under Upcoming sessions. You can also choose its lesson, Cancel session (or restore it), or delete a one-off session. Use Open full schedule to manage repeating rules—on the group class Schedule tab or the student's profile Schedule tab for one-on-one lessons.
Repeating schedules
For regular weekly times, add a repeating schedule from a group class's Schedule tab or an individual student's Schedule tab on their profile.
- Click Add under Repeating schedules (or Add schedule on a student profile).
- Pick the Days, Start time, and Minutes.
- Set the First date and Last date. A schedule can cover up to 18 months.
- Click Add schedule.
Single dates
Use Add a single date on a group class, or Single date on a student's profile Schedule tab, for one-off sessions such as a make-up lesson or a recital rehearsal.
Change or cancel a date
Click Edit on any date to open it. From there you can:
- Move it to another day or time, or change its length or location.
- Choose its Lesson. Class dates follow your lesson order automatically; pick a specific lesson to pin it.
- Add Notes for students, which they can open from their schedule.
- Cancel date: it stays on everyone's schedule, struck through and marked Cancelled. Restore date brings it back.
- Delete it. Only one-off dates can be deleted; dates from a repeating schedule can be cancelled.
Locations
Each date can have its own location. If it doesn't, it uses the schedule's location, then the class's default, then the studio default.
- Physical locations give students a Directions link.
- Virtual meetings give them a Join meeting button.
- Choose Other… to type a room, address, or video link for a single date.
The studio owner manages saved locations in Settings → Locations.
Student and class overviews
- Schedule → Students lists each student in your group classes and your one-on-one students, with their next session. Search by name, email, or class. Links open the class Schedule tab or the student's profile Schedule tab.
- Schedule → Classes lists each group class with its number of students and next session, linking to its Schedule tab. One-on-one scheduling is not listed here—use Individuals or the student's profile.
What students see
Students and parents see upcoming class and private lesson dates on the Schedule page in their Classroom, including cancellations, notes, directions, and meeting links. See The Classroom.
